Czech automaker Skoda has revealed that the first nine months of the year have been very successful for the firm.
The car manufacturer stated that it has sold 462,429 worldwide since the beginning of the year, with 56,384 snapped up by consumers in September 2007, making it the second-most successful month it has enjoyed since 1991.
Its five-door executive Superb model has done particularly well, having sold the equivalent amount of units in the past nine months than in the full year beforehand.
At the Geneva Motor Show in March next year, Skoda will be unveiling its follow-up to the car.
In addition, the company commented that it has performed particularly well on the home front.
"To date Skoda has sold a total of 102,796 vehicles in central Europe which include the sales in Skoda’s home market of the Czech Republic," the automaker stated.
